Job Description:

This position is responsible for all Fiber Voice Installations across the ILEC footprint. In addition to Fiber Installs, this position will support Cutover activity, Network Upgrades and TDM decommissions. This position will also support all the voice testing within the ILEC footprint for new sites, card-adds, and other provisioning plans where voice will be required or installed.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Switch Provisioning across multiple platforms (DMS100/500, DMS10/CS1500, GTD5, DCO, EWSD & Metaswitch)
  • Equipment provisioning across various vendor platforms and equipment types, including but not limited to Calix and Adtran ONT’s, Actiontech, Sagemcom and Polycom ATA Devices
  • Building/configuring voice gateways
  • Troubleshooting voice network elements
  • Providing support to field technicians during customer installations
  • Providing support for cutover activity relating to voice services

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.
Job Requirements Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:
Associate Degree in a technical discipline and 2-3 years technical/telephony experience with 2 years directly related to the job; or 5 years of directly related telephony experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or directly related telephony experience required.
